Made to Degrade
New NSF award to accelerate development of ocean-degradable plastics.

We have a new award through NSF's Convergence Accelerator program to explore the development of plastic materials specifically designed to degrade in the ocean. The project is a collaboration with Melissa Omand at the University of Rhode Island, Anne Meyer at the University of Rochester, and bioplastic company Mango Materials.
