Members of the Santoro Lab traveled to Costa Rica to sail on the RV Atlantis for 28 days with members of other institutions!
They combined their interdisciplinary knowledge in chemistry, biology, and engineering in an effort to quantify the abundance of trace metal-containing enzyme, metalloenzymes, in the mesopelagic ocean.
